No it is not a typo. I really mean mud-ness. Its been raining of late in Nairobi. Its a great thing. The dust that was driving us all mad (see I know how to spell!!) is all gone now. In its place is lush green vegetation. Its a beautiful country.
I might have not mentined it but I work in a slum. No I am not being sarcastic, I really do work in the heart of the majengo slums in Eastern Nairobi. Here its also been raining. We all appreciate the rain as the dust was getting out of control.
But the place where I work the rain has come with a new and propably unwelcome developement. MUD. Its is so muddy as one walks its makes a squishy sound. The risk of slipping and falling in the mud is very real. The mud also doesnt smell too pleasant. Might be garbage or sewedge or something worse.( I am sure there are worse things in the world than sewedge). Anyway I attached some pictures to give an idea of what I am really talking about.
